TO LIVE, LOVE, & LOOK LIKE JESUS.
Our heart is to see students develop a growing passion for Jesus and loving other people outside of our church walls, in their homes, and in their community throughout their everyday lives.
Whether you've been following Jesus your entire life, only a few weeks, or maybe you're not there yet, we want BSM South to be a place that feels like home. Our community is filled with people who are authentic, filled with life, and genuinely passionate about following Jesus every day.
BSM SOUTH PASTOR
I grew up in Plano, TX and moved to Abilene in 2009 to attend Abilene Christian University and play football. I immediately started attending Beltway Park on Sundays and soon got plugged into College Park. I was challenged by the community of passionate college students who were sold out to Jesus. Long story short, I tore my ACL two times in nine months and had to give up football. In this time of pain, God began to show me the call He had on my life and birthed within me a desire to reach others. Beltway has also had a profound impact on my wife as she and her family have been involved at Beltway for 20+ years.
Ashley and I were married on December 20, 2014. I thank God for blessing me with the girl of my dreams! Our daughter, Analeigh, was born in December of 2017 and has brought much joy to our family! She also does a really good job of keeping us on our toes. We are Cowboys fans, Baylor fans, and love traveling to the beach. I also enjoy backpacking and ice cream (cookies and cream)!
I am passionate about reaching and discipling students. I believe Jesus loves using young people to spread His kingdom throughout the earth! My family and I are humbled and excited to be a part of what God is doing in and through the people of Beltway Park.
BSM SOUTH ASSOCIATE PASTOR
I grew up in Central Texas and moved to Abilene in 2005 to attend Abilene Christian University. I started attending Beltway Park Church in 2006 and got involved in College Park as a member and Group leader until I graduated in 2009. The Lord started to peel back the layers of my heart for students when I had the opportunity to hang out with them at BSM Camp and see the incredible value God has over their lives in the here and now!
While starting to serve as a high school Group leader, the Lord whispered Psalm 145:4 to me. "One generation shall commend your works to another and shall declare of your mighty acts." My heart was set on fire with vision that He desires to use the generations (young and old) to display His glory.
I have been honored to be a part of Beltway Student Ministries since 2015.
I love to travel, hosting people and cooking for them is my jam and I enjoy adventuring through life with the amazing community I have!
My heart longs to see a generation set on fire to influence the nations to come alongside the bride of Christ and make her ready for her bridegroom!
